Preschool lesson plan for 2015-2016

    • 30th A is for Animals, come prepared to talk about an animal you like to learn about.
      • Games to play:  What animal am I?  Baby animals
  • October
    • 7th B is for Build. C is for Create
      • play with legos

    • 21st E is for Electricity:
      • read books about power, play with circuit boards  
    • 28th F is for Farm
      •  visit Spooner’s Farm/ pumpkin patch (doesn’t have to be on wednesday we could go any day that week.)
  • November
    • 4th G is for Gretel. H is for Hansel:  
      • Read Hansel and Gretel, decorate gingerbread cookies
      • teach Hansel and Gretel song
    • 11th I is for inches, talk about and play with measurements
      • measuring cups and colored rice
      • Measure heights using a measuring stick
    • 18th J is for jumping: Pump it up tacoma open gym from 10-12 I’ll get a punch card 4.00 a kid

      • reenact the nativity story
      • talk about giving Jesus a gift this Christmas

      • Play with money, sort and count. play store and pretend to wrap presents

  1. I love your curriculum! It gives me some good ideas too! Is this aimed for Grace and Everett? IS Gwenevere participating as well or does she have a complete separate curriculum?

  2. I made this curriculum so i can build on it for Gwynevere's school work this year. Hence subjects like money, time, electricity, I'll start simple and then go into dept as much as each child is interested. At least that's the goal. Gwenevere also has handwriting, reading and math and history she'll do daily, as well as a couple big projects she chooses to do this year, like building a lending library and researching an animal and presenting her research.
